IS anyone from Blackburn with Darwen Council prepared to stand up and admit responsibility for the idiotic cycle lanes which are starting to appear in Darwen town centre?
The bit which crosses the road outside the Millstone Hotel reaches the kerb and then turns at an abrupt 90 degree angle is one of the most senseless, dangerous road markings I have ever seen.
The only reason that there will be no accidents there is because nobody will use it.
This is Lego-land road planning at its worst and a complete waste of paint.
