I WANT to thank the staff on Ward D3, Royal Blackburn Hospital, who looked after me before and during my operation on October 16.
Many thanks to everyone, especially the consultant gynaecologist, Mrs Bhatia and her team, the theatre nurse Trish and Christine Holt, the ward sister.
I had never received hospital care in England before then and was very nervous. I soon realised that I need not have been.
Staff were very kind and reassuring and explained what was going to be done and why. And the new hospital is lovely, very clean and well equipped.
