THE American-orchestrated trial of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein was a foregone conclusion and a highly prejudicial, prejudged farce and sham.
If his appeal fails (and it will) Iraq will become a bloodbath in retribution for George W Bush's and Tony Blair's sins of fabricating false evidence over non-existent weapons of mass destruction, that resulted in the obscene, unnecessary deaths of thousands of innocent Muslim non-combatant men, women and children.
Saddam Hussein's forthcoming death will not be justice but revenge for New York's 9/11 and London's 7/7.
While Tony Blair struts about at the Pride of Britain awards ceremony in London, presenting awards to people for bravery, he should be locked up in a cell with his co-conspirator, George W Bush, awaiting trial for war crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq.
At least have the decency to allow Saddam to face a firing squad!
