THE Bishop of Blackburn, the Rt Rev Nicholas Reade, led an open air Songs of Praise with the Salvation Army Band to mark the centenary of St Stephen's Church in Little Harwood.
The church combined its 100th birthday celebrations with a community fun day at the nearby St Stephen's Infant School and Children's Centre grounds yesterday.
Visitors also enjoyed entertainment from an Asian music band, fire and police displays, a children's entertainer, and Asian and English food stalls.
