A BATTLE of the Bands contest is to be held at the Sir Charles Napier in Blackburn, with £250 for the winners.
The first heat will be next Sunday and the competition will then run every Sunday.
Bands will perform three original songs in front of a panel of judges. Bands with the highest scores will qualify for the semi-finals and the final.
Landlady Rosalino Panaro said: "We regularly host music events at the pub and as we have such a good relationship with many of the musicians it seemed only fitting to host our very own Battle of the Bands."
