MORE buses are set to run between Rossendale and Manchester City Centre.
From next Monday the Witch Way X44 service through Edenfield and Shuttleworth is to be enhanced.
The 12-month trial period will see an extra 10 journeys per day from Monday to Friday, giving a total of seven journeys in each direction to the city centre.
In addition, five journeys in each direction will operate on Saturdays.
The move comes following numerous requests and several meetings with residents.
Operations director of Burnley & Pendle Travel Ltd Russell Revill, said: "We have a policy of listening to our customers and this service enhancement is a prime example.
"Working with local community representatives has led to the development of the new timetable."
Over the next few weeks promotional summary timetables will be distributed by the company in the Edenfield and Shuttleworth area.
A new Witch Way User Guide with full details of all journeys on The Witch Way will be available on buses and from the usual outlets.
