A RISHTON man had been drinking heavily days before his death, an inquest has heard.
Former care worker Michael Noble, 50, from Shuttleworth Road died on July 17.
At his inquest opening, coroner's officer PC Lynne Farnworth said Mr Noble had "been drinking heavily" on July 13 at the home of his late father.
Coroner for Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley, Michael Singleton, heard a post mortem examination was carried out but adjourned the inquest until October 3 to allow further tests to be carried out.
