Lancashire pupils believe the best thing about being off school is spending time with their parents, a survey has revealed.
Around 200 children in the North West including pupils from the county were quizzed about holidays in a survey from Thomas Cook.
It found that 95 per cent of under 12s in the region put spending quality time with their mums and dads as the most enjoyable part of a holiday as parents are less grumpy when on vacation.
