MORE than 100 businesses attended a ‘digital revolution’ seminar held at the University of Central Lancashire campus in Burnley.
Among those at the event were BBC North director Peter Salmon, Peel Media chairman Bryan Gray and others from the digital and creative media sectors.
Regeneration bosses hope to turn the UCLan campus in Princess Way into a hub of digital innovation via high-speed broadband links to Media City in Salford, where the BBC and ITV will have bases.
Mr Gray said: “ Places like Burnley can take advantage of thuge investment.”
