TWO bikers were killed after crashing into each other on a popular motorcycle route yesterday morning.
The head-on collision occurred between a black Kawasaki and white Honda on the B6255 between Hawes and Horton-in-Ribblesdale at 10.36am.
Both riders, aged 40 and 33, died at the scene. They have not yet been named.
The motorcyclists are from Longridge in Lancashire and Halifax, West Yorkshire.
The road between Hawes and Ingleton is popular with motorcyclists during the summer and has been the scene of several fatal accidents in recent years.
