FOUR East Lancashire record shops are taking part in this year’s Record Store Day.
Tomorrow, independent shops across the country will sell exclusive limited edition releases from some of the world's top bands.
Smaller music shops have lost trade in the last decade to high street giants like HMV, internet sellers like Amazon and download sites.
However, among those who have contributed limited edition CDs and vinyl to independents this weekend are the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen.
The four East Lancashire stores participating this Saturday are: Astonishing Sounds in Hall Street, Burnley; Townsend Records stores in Queen Street, Great Harwood, and Moor Lane, Clitheroe; and Malcolm’s Musicland in Church Street, Chorley.
Record Store Day was first launched in Britain in 2008.
