The Blackburn and District Badminton Association are pleased to support the sport of badminton in the area, and are always looking to promote the game.
Iain Bissett from the Roefield Leisure Centre in Clitheroe has organised a course of junior badminton courses. These courses will be held under the instruction of Steve Aspinall who is a well known player in the area. There will; be two courses which will be held on Wednesdays from 4.00pm to 5.00pm for ages 6–11 years. The more advanced session will be held on Monday, again from 4.00pm to 5.00pm for those aged 11–16 years.
If anyone knows of children who would like to take up the sport or improve their badminton skills further, or perhaps even attend local clubs, they would like to hear from them.
