A LONG-established family carpet firm has designs on success after being given a £11,000 grant from an enterprise initiative.
More than £500,000 has been ploughed into Pendle companies since the No Limits Finance For Growth scheme began three years ago.
The latest recipient is Bronte Carpets, based at Bankfield Mill, in Greenfield Road, Colne.
Bosses there will use the cash to buy two tufting machines, used in carpet manufacture.
Company secretary Elaine Linford said: “It’s really important that we keep improving the way we do things, especially in the current climate.”
Grants from the scheme are now administered by Regenerate Pennine Lancashire Ltd. the new enterprise agency for the east of the county.
