A man who collapsed at a Preston bus stop and later died has been named by police as a Brierfield man.
Christopher Knight, 60, of Chapel Street, was waiting for a bus to Preston’s park and ride facility near St George’s Shopping Centre last Wednesday evening when he collapsed.
He was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital but pronounced dead later.
Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances and referred the death to the coroner.
A spokesman for the coroner’s office said the death was being treated as from natural causes and no inquest would be held.
