The Queen will pay a visit Blackburn on Thursday morning. Here is her itinerary.

9.55am. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh arrive at Blackburn train station aboard the Royal train.

10.00am. The Queen will be greeted at the station entrance by about 100 pupils from schools across the borough.

10.05am. The Queen arrives at Church Street, where she will be presented with a posy of red roses from two school pupils and will be greeted by the Mayor and Jack Straw MP.

The Queen will then walk up Church Street meeting members of the public and will learn about the town's regeneration.

She will then meet council leader Coun Kate Hollern, who will give a speech outside the pavilion.

10.25am. The Queen will unveil a plaque commemorating her visit and the £45 million Mall re-development, which starts in October.

10.30am. The Queen will be driven along Darwen Street and Jubilee Street back to the station to catch her train to the Ribble Valley.
