BURNLEY could soon have its own community radio station with the launch of a new project at the town's youth theatre.
Burnley Community Radio is an initiative set up by the Burnley Community Network a group of 260 organisations throughout Burnley and Padiham.
The scheme was launched at the Youth Theatre, Queen's Park Road, with dancers from the theatre, and Towneley High School, and Radio Regen.
The project still needs funding, but organisers hope that, with backing, Burnley could have its own community radio station broadcasting to the town.
