LOOK at the menu of many takeaways and you can be hard pressed to decide what exactly is on offer.
Massala Mix gives you a clue in the title but when you walk in you are faced with an array of signs for pizzas, kebabs, burger chips and pies as well as Indian takeaways.
I stuck to Indian and went for a lamb rogan josh and pilau rice for the better half and a chicken korai massala for me with chapattis. A portion of mint sauce took my total spend to £9.50.
Both dishes were plentiful in quantity and decidedly tasty. The chicken dish had a hint of ginger and a variety of spices which blended well although being critical it was a little oily.
The lamb rogan josh also worked well with the tomatoes and pimentos combining well with the tender chunks of lamb.
