Blackpool Panthers RLFC started their pre-season campaign with a 32-22 defeat away at fellow National Two side Featherstone Rovers at Post Office Road on Sunday.
The Panthers start their competitive campaign with a Northern Rail Cup tie against former Superleague outfit Leigh.
The game was originally due to be played at Bloomfield Road on February 12 but is likely to be switched to Hilton Park instead.
