A tourism study for the borough is to assess the existing and potential contribution of tourism to the Rossendale economy. The study will look at the growth prospects for tourism through to 2027.
Peter Crompton, who is leading the study says Rossendale has many attractions and facilities such as Ski Rossendale, the Halo Panopticon, the Irwell Sculpture Trail, the Mary Townley Loop, The East Lancashire Steam Railway and Helmshore Mills Textile Museum.
