SOON councillors will decide whether 16 flats can be built on the former bowling green of the Liberal Club in the Hollins Grove area of Darwen.
Local residents strongly disapprove of this plan which clearly puts profit before people.
The building design is not in keeping with housing in the area and extra vehicles will increase already severe traffic congestion.
There is the concern about air pollution and drainage problems.
