EXPORT orders worth £200,000 have been won by a fast-growing computer firm.

MJN Technology - part of the Granville Technology Group - has secured contracts to supply computer equipment to a company in Malta and the Zambian Government.

The announcement comes just weeks after the Simonstone group revealed plans for a new computer manufacturing facility, creating more than 100 jobs.

The Zambian order was made through a London-based trading house which has now made MJN its preferred supplier of computer products for markets in Africa and eastern Europe.

The order includes desktop pcs, printers and software.

The Malta contract, to supply £100,000 of computers to the AX Holdings Group, will be for internal computer use and for resale on the island.

"These two export orders are a wonderful endorsement of the quality that can be expected of systems being built at our new manufacturing facility," said MJN's Technology's sales manager Paul Stanfield."
