IAM gathering information on "accident" blackspots and am particularly interested in the A666 Darwen to Bolton road, or the "Devil's Highway" as your report (LET, January 18) referred to it.
I would be grateful for any readers' comments on why this stretch of road has had so many fatalities. I would also like to hear from anyone who has lived on this road, knows of its history or has simply had a narrow escape.
