LOCAL author and illustrator Marty Casey will visit St Barnabas and St Paul's CE Primary School in Blackburn, on Tuesday, February 13, when the school will stage its Book Week.
Marty, a former schoolteacher, will show pupils the various stages of writing a book, from the actual idea to the final draft, and incorporating illustrations.
During the course of the week the seven to nine-year-olds will visit Blackburn Central Library to learn how to use the facilities, and a storyteller from the library will call at the school to entertain the schools infant class.
