FUN-FILLED memories are now all that remains of the old flume at Blackburn Waves Water Fun Centre.
The ageing ride is being dismantled to make way for a new white-knuckle, high speed "spaceship" flume to thrill summer visitors.
Waves will be one of only a handful of leisure centres in the country to have a state-of-the-art spaceship ride combining lighting and sound effects.
The centre is scheduled to reopen on May 27 and the flume opens on June 8.
