ORGANISERS of the Russian Convoy Club in St Helens have sent out an urgent appeal for new members. The club, which has been in operation for the last 13 years, holds meetings once a month at its base in the Royal Naval Club, Crab Street. Anyone who was a member of the Merchant Navy during the second world war and travelled on a convoy to Russia, is eligible to join the club. For further details contact Mr Bond on St Helens 754507.
