ONE of the aims of the Battle of Britain Appreciation Society is to ensure that proper tribute is paid to the late heroes who flew in combat for Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain.

To do this, our members wish to pay regular visits to the graves of the late BoB heroes, but we need help to discover where they are buried.

We know the locations of the last resting places of the 1,300 BoB aircrew who died during the war, but not of the 1,200 who have died since.

If any readers can assist with information regarding the whereabouts of graves of the 'Few,' or would like information regarding membership of the society, we would be grateful if they would contact us at: BoBAS, Green Fields, Gunthorpe, Melton Constable, NR24 2NS.

BILL BOND, Founder and Secretary, Battle of Britain Appreciation Society.
