REGARDING Mrs Woods' letter (June 5) about racial prejudice, remember after the Second World War, we heard of all the 'freedoms' we had won by saving all of mankind from slavery by our prodigious efforts.

We came out of that war with less freedom than we went in with.

Let us have no more double talk or double think. We have been enslaved by a new anti-British way of warping the truth, it is called political correctness.

Parliament invented this, and is now so enmeshed in it, the fate of Britain has passed out of its hands. Westminster has lost its title as the 'Mother of Parliaments.'
