THE body of a man was found on the railway line at Boyes Lane, Fulwood on Monday morning.
Keith Collum, 39, of Fulwood, was discovered 300 yards north of the road bridge at Boyes Lane at around 6.20am by a train driver going through the area.
Mr Collum, who was married with children, had not been seen since Sunday night.
PC Herbert of Preston Transport Police said: "Inquiries are ongoing and we would appeal for anyone who saw him on the night of the 16th to contact us on Preston 253682."
