IT'S gone from good to better for on song GREAT HARWOOD Town as they prepare to travel to top of the table-of-the-table Lincoln United on Saturday.

Tuesday's 1-0 victory over unbeaten Birmingham side Tamworth - thanks to a Neil Ottley goal in the FA Challenge Trophy, means they have now progressed in both cup competitions and climbed up to fourth in Unibond League Division One.

"I couldn't have wished for any better," said delighted Town boss Martin Eatough. "Now we have to very important games to look forward to."

On Tuesday, Great Harwood entertain Premier side Chorley in the second round of the Unibond League Cup.

Depleted DARWEN rely on their kids again as they take on Clitheroe for the second time in four days on Saturday.

On Wednesday they travelled to their Unibond League Division One rivals looking to overturn the 5-3 deficit from their first leg clash of the Floodlit Cup.
