HEART operation drama girl Rachel Howker is returning to Florida.

And this time the 12-year-old hopes she will see all the attractions of Disney World.

Earlier this year her dreams of visiting the Magic Kingdom turned to nightmare when she collapsed and had to undergo a major heart operation in Tampa.

Rachel has had heart problems since birth. She had a pacemaker fitted at ten months and corrective surgery when she was five. At the beginning of this year doctors said she needed a heart transplant.

After she collapsed while on holiday, pioneering surgeon, Dr Gary Haas agreed to carry out out an operation and waived the £47,000 fee.

Back home in Ramsbottom she returned to school and has even been able to take part in PE lessons.

Rachel will return to Florida tomorrow with 88 other children from all over the country.

The all-expenses week's holiday has been provided by Destination Florida and Rachel, who was 12 on Tuesday, gave up a party in favour of new clothes for the holiday.

Mum Carol said today: "She is very excited and really looking forward to seeing Disney World this time.''
