AN EAST Lancashire police chief was drawing up battle plans to combat teenage gangs.
Supt Mike Griffin was planning a top level meeting to discuss the problem of juvenile gangs in Blackburn.
There had been several incidents where schoolboys had been beaten up. There were several gangs named in Blackburn including, Blackburn Youth, the Mill Hill Mob and the Daisyfield Riot Squad.
