WARRIORS U14s started brightly against St Cuthberts with tries for Michael Smith and Daniel Wright, one of which was converted by Ian Schofield, but a string of handling errors consigned the home team to long periods of defence and the final score was Warriors 10 St Cuthberts 32. Man of the match was John Fidler and top tackler Michael Smith.

Leyland Warriors U13s' full strength team quickly put visitors Shaw Tigers under pressure, controlling the ball and dominating the centre of the field. Warriors won the game with tries from debut winger and top tackler Gary Watts, Simon Crowther, Daniel Woods, Daniel Jones, Greg Baron, Matt Bennett, Paul Brown (2), William Fell, Paul Cowling (20), Tom Puddy and man of the match Chris Smith. Warriors U12s had a hard-fought game of open running rugby against Oldham St Anne's at Lancashire Police Headquarters. In an even match the opening try was a stunning solo effort by Lee Beattie who left the defence trailing in his wake. Warriors' second try came from a typical bulldozing run from Johnny Tuson. With five minutes to go Warriors were trailing 10-20 when John Cookson set off on a charging run slipped the ball to Shaun Taylor who scored under the post. Lee Beattie added the conversion but despite their best efforts Warriors lost 16-20. Man of the match was Paul Lorenten and best tackler was Lee Beattie.

The U11s lost by a narrow margin of 22-24 away at Oldham St Anne's. Passing and support was exceptional when Stuart Brown scored. The pick of the tries was Declan Mallem taking three men over the lineto score. Other tries came from Wes Loram, Dean Taylor and Stuart Brown. Top tackler was Graham Kelsall, while man of the match was shared by Andrew Bennett and Stuart Brown.

Oldham St Anne's played the U9s and at half-time it was 18-18, but in the second half Warriors relaxed and St Anne's continued on stronger to win 44-18. Top tackler was Phil Campbell who converted all tries. James Lloyd was voted man of the match. Tries were by Chris Tuson (2) and James Glover.

The U8s travelled to Oldham St Anne's, losing 18-36. The defence let the team down but an impressive performance by man of the match Lee Connick and top tackler Craig Hewlett stopped any further tries.
