COACH operator Ellen Smith Tours of Rossendale received a big surprise from TV star Tom O'Connor.
The comedian was host at the national Coach Industry Awards when the company came runner-up in the "Marketing Campaign of the Year" category.
Its campaign was based on the company's "Elite Tours," which has been a great success since its launch earlier this year.
Commercial director Paul Mason said: "We can hold our heads up high and say we beat many of the biggest names in the country."
"This was the company's first ever attempt at the awards and we will certainly be entering again next year, possibly in more than one category."
