METROLINK has announced its Christmas timetable - and while there is extra help for shoppers, there will be no late trams for New Year's Eve revellers.
There will be no service on Christmas Day, but there will be double vehicles on Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Sunday to help accommodate Christmas shoppers.
Boxing Day will see a Sunday service, as will December 29 and New Year's Day, and a Saturday service will operate on December 27 and 28.
There will be no late trams on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve: the last tram from Bury to Manchester (Victoria) should set out at 12.12am.
