A NEW chain of centres to help steer people to new careers has been given official approval.

The Inform adult guidance centres, based at seven locations across East Lancashire, were launched earlier this year by ELTEC in partnership with colleges, training providers and the East Lancashire Careers Service.

The centres have now been awarded accreditation for their services.

"Quality information and advice are essential to help East Lancashire people to access new jobs, training and development opportunities," said Andy Fawcett, ELTEC's training and education development director.
