GOAL-DEN girl Nellie Whitehead celebrated her 97th birthday in style with a family party.
Sprightly Nellie, Blackburn Rovers oldest fan, was the centre of attention at the bash at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.
Nellie is a season ticket holder and tries to get to as many home games as possible from her home in the Ewood area.
Last season she missed just one game, and although she is in a wheelchair, she manages to celebrate when her favourite team scores.
