POLICE cracked down on a 'rave' night because they feared it would attract drug-using youngsters from all over the country. Managers at King George's Hall in Blackburn pulled the plug on the night following warnings from the police.
Police were particularly concerned about the posters advertising the dance band E-Lustrious because they believed the letter 'E' referred to the drug Ecstasy.
