LOAN arranger Adrian Heath will spend this weekend trying to add a fresh face to his squad in time for the Lancashire derby at Blackpool on Tuesday.

Burnley faced a vitally important Division Two clash against Bristol Rovers at Turf Moor today.

But one of Heath's number priorities remains a loan signing as Burnley set their sights on a promotion play-off berth. He explained: "It is an area I am looking at and we are working hard on a number of leads.

"We might be able to get a couple out and then that would give me a little room to manoeuvre in the loan market. We have been offered a few players, but unfortunately in the wrong positions.

"It would be ideal if we could fix something up in time for Blackpool. It remains to be seen if we can do it in time."

The Turf Moor board of directors appear to have placed a transfer embargo on Heath and a loan deal appears to be the only avenue he can pursue. But the Clarets injury situation has improved over the past 48 hours with Glen Little and Andy Cooke both fit again. He added: "I know the financial situation. We just haven't got thousands of pounds floating around.

"I have to operate within certain financial guidelines and that is the reality. Ideally, I would like to add at least two quality players to the squad for a big push but the money is not there."

Tickets are available for Tuesday night's clash at Bloomfield Road.

A number of tickets have been returned and they are on open sale at sale at £8.50 (£6.50, conc).

Supporters are reminded that tickets bought for the original tie are still valid. Refunds can only be obtained if tickets are returned before 5.00pm on Tuesday.

The growing Clarets' Independent Supporters Association will stage their next meeting at the Park View pub on Thursday (7.30). The ISA have invited secretary John Haworth to attend along with members of staff from the Turf Moor club shop.
