IN his speech to the National Union of Teachers' conference, Education Secretary David Blunkett expressed concern for the majority of children whose parents cannot afford to send them to independent schools.

If Mr Blunkett and the Labour Government was so concerned about it, they would not have abolished the assisted places scheme.

Because of Labour's political dogma, many children have been denied the chance to better their education.
