I WAS upset and disgusted by an incident which happened on July 17, in Thatto Heath Park.
My grandchildren love to play on the extra-large slide there and although it was slightly later than we usually call - about 8.15pm - there were still children playing.
Our grandson and grand-daughter went straight on to the slide, but returned in dismay.
They were both dirty and wet. Some older children told us that a group of youths had urinated on the top of the slide.
Can you imagine how our children, aged seven and five, felt? They had to be taken home and washed and showered.
I want to know what is being done about security in our public parks.
I can't understand why people don't show some respect.
