SINGING superstar Chris de Burgh is to flick the switch to turn on this year's Illuminations.
The guy who made millions of women swoon with his ballad Lady In Red will perform the prestigious ceremony in Talbot Square on September 4.
Chris, who arrives in the resort fresh from a UK tour, will also sing live during the annual crowd-puller, broadcast on Radio 2 between 8.30 and 9.30pm and presented by Johnny Walker.
Also making an appearance are Coronation Street's Matthew Marsden, chart-topper Des'ree, singer Tina Arena and Irish vocalist Frances Black.
Other acts will be confirmed at a later date.
