A WOMAN was attacked and robbed by two men as she walked home in the early on Saturday, August 1.
The victim was walking along Larch Avenue, Newton-le-Willows just after midnight when she was approached by the men who asked her for a light. They then started punching and kicking her before running off with her handbag containing £200.
The woman said both spoke with Liverpool accents.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact St Helens Police Station on 0151 777 6050.
