BRITISH Airways telephone sales agent Graham Tonge from Bury is certainly a high-flyer.

He was one of six agents to enjoy a champagne celebration at the Manchester office of British Airways.

The celebration came after Graham and his colleagues all passed one of the industry's top qualifications - with flying colours.

They are now holders of the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Customer Care level three qualification after completing the nine-month course in just 24 weeks.

The six are among 340 Rapport agents who work in British Airways telephone sales in Quay Street, Manchester, dealing with the travel trade.

Graham, of Heswall Drive, Bury, and his colleagues completed the course in record time.

At the celebration, telephone sales manager Philip Le Feuvre was first to toast the success of his colleagues.
