STORY and activity sessions at Newton Library have proved so popular that places for the next five need to be booked in advance!
Sixty children with mums, dads, grans and grand-dads, joined in the first session at the library in Crow Lane.
Sessions are held every Wednesday from 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm during the school holidays. Organised by the Partnership with Parents in Newton Campaign, the scheme is aimed at youngsters aged four-eight years but older or younger brothers and sisters are also welcome.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and places must be booked in advance. Further details available on 01925 226859.
