A SPECTACULAR firework display to the music of the 1812 Overture and featuring the world famous Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band will provide a dramatic finale to the free Brassworks '98 event at Centre Vale Park, Todmorden.
The event on Sunday, August 23, starts in mid-afternoon with the Huddersfield-based North Stars Steel Orchestra, one of the best steel bands in the north of England.
They will be followed on stage by Harlequin Brass, widely regarded as one of the finest brass ensembles in Britain today.
The evening concert, organised by A Touch of Brass, starts at 6.30pm and features the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band followed at dusk with a firework display to the 1812 Overture.
