The Young Swimmer by Jeff Rouse, a young enthusiasts' guide to swimming, published by Dorling Kindersley, £3.99

THE book gives you lots of information about swimming. All the skills - for example front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, and butterfly - are covered.

It also tells you about the history of swimming including lots of things you don't know already.

You think you know it all, but then all the information starts to pour out.

The best part of the book is where it tells you how to play games under the water. It is really smart.

My opinion of the book is that it is very good. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend the book to children who have just learnt to swim.
