CATHERINE Flint has become the first user at Rawtenstall Library to achieve an Acorn Book Club gold award.

Catherine, 12, has read and reviewed 85 books. She received a certificate and £20 book token from branch librarian Nick Bury.

Bronze and silver awards are given for reading and reviewing ten and 25 books.
