ACTION man Roy Harrison is hoping to track down the 'human polecat' who stole his two working ferrets.
Roy, veteran of numerous charity parachute drops and a keen fly fisherman, has put up a £30 reward (twice the sum it would cost to replace them) for information leading to the recovery of the pair of pets, snatched from backyard cages at his home in Shaw Street, St Helens.
An incensed Roy tells me: "I've had them for about five years and become very attached to them. If they've fallen into the hand of someone who doesn't understand their special feeding requirements and the handling they need, then all my care over those past five years will have been in vain."
The two pets are a true ferret and a polecat-cross.
ROY has circulated reward posters around town and anyone with any useful information can ring him on St Helens 737427.
