I WOULD like to thank the Citizen for taking up my complaint about broken street lights in this area.
In your story I noted the comments made by the council official but, in fact, the lights he talked about were further down the estate and nothing to do with the 12 lights on the path behind my home.
But to my delight and many others, workmen turned up on Friday afternoon, dug up the path put in a new piece of cable and on Friday night - bingo! - the path was once again lit up.
Thank you once again on behalf of everyone around here for your help on getting things done.
Mr Borrill, Brindle Close, Scale Hall.
