I AGREE with Damian Robinson about the BBC TV Licence fee, it is extortionate.
Why is this so-called 'People's Government' allowing consumers get ripped-off almost everywhere we go?
I am a working class Labour voter and like most other people I like a pint. The problem is when I ask for a pint in some town-centre pubs, I get a short measure.
This is because the brewers have gone onto the freeflow system. I always ask for my pint to be topped up to the pint level and in most cases it is, but there are some cases where I have had to argue just to get what I have paid for.
I voted Labour so that this sort of thing would be changed. They said they wanted a fair society and I believed them. These brewing companys are making millions of pounds of excess profits by selling beer that has already been sold.
I hope the Government change this sort of extortion soon because if they don't, I will become a Liberal Democrat-voting teetotaller, and save a fortune.
